Stewart Shields has found success as a Line Producer,
Production Manager, Assistant Director, Camera Assistant and Grip/Electrician. Stewart’s passion to be in production began at age 4, when a close family friend and news anchor introduced him to cameras and lighting. Ever since, Stewart has found creative ways to combine his love of the film and television industry with his diverse skills as a SCUBA divemaster, rock climber, outdoor enthusiast and musician.
Stewart has been actively ... Moreemployed in entertainment since age 23. In 1998, he moved to Los Angeles and began work as an AD on independent films and reality television programs. His experience with production, teamed with his skills in the outdoor adventure industry, have been instrumental in Stewart’s producing for networks like CBS, NBC, A&E, Lifetime, BBC, TLC, Style, Discovery, Animal Planet, FX, History Channel, OWN and more. He’s spent the last 5 years as Line Producer on shows ranging from TLC's successful franchise Flip that House to adrenaline-filled shows like Discovery’s Shark Week Deadly Waters and Animal Planet’s Venom in Vegas. His most recent endeavor was producing 23 episodes of History’s successful historical mystery series, Brad Meltzer’s Decoded.
Stewart often utilizes his proven managerial, scheduling and financial skills while running multiple projects (recently, he had 7 projects running simultaneously) and managing budgets exceeding $14 million. Crews, producers and clients applaud his ability to successfully balance the strategic, physical and personality-driven aspects of his projects.
Stewart lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife, 2 daughters and 3 dogs.
